- Medieval East Lothian in its North Sea world: an archaeological assessment
- Grand Designs & Gracious Living: The rise of East Lothian’s mansion houses
- Innovation and change in East Lothian agriculture: some examples from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries
- The Powerhouse of East Lothian: A Brief History of Coal and Industry
